Do you take over software built by other developers?
Yes. We take over existing applications and continue their development, including when the previous provider is no longer available. We first review the source code and documentation. We establish which access credentials are available and how the application can be tested and operated safely.
You receive an assessment of its condition and the next steps. Working parts can stay. Together we agree which issues to address first and which additions are worthwhile. Taking over an application does not require rebuilding it from scratch.
How do you replace an Excel spreadsheet with an application?
We work through the spreadsheet with the people who use it every day. We review formulas and macros as well as rules that currently exist only in someone’s head. We turn this into an application that several people can use with appropriate access permissions.
Existing data is mapped, cleaned and imported in a trial run. We compare calculations against the spreadsheet using familiar examples. The workflow changes only after your review; if needed, both solutions run alongside each other for an agreed transition period.
Do you also build websites with WordPress?
Yes. We build and extend WordPress websites, including custom features and connections to other systems. Whether WordPress or another platform is the right fit depends on what your website needs to do and how your team manages its content.
We can also develop an existing WordPress site further. We first review its theme and plugins, then discuss with you what can be retained.
