Managed server for company website
A live website and a separate test environment, automatic SSL certificates and daily backups in a separate location. The recovery procedure is documented.
Infrastructure in German data centres you do not have to administer yourself.
When the website goes down, you lose enquiries, trust and sometimes the first impression of your company. We run your projects on infrastructure in German data centres, with clear responsibilities and a direct contact instead of an anonymous ticket system.
Hosting includes backups, encrypted connections, availability monitoring and server infrastructure updates. We agree updates to your website or application and content changes as part of maintenance. You know the server location and whom to contact during an incident. A data processing agreement is included.

Planned move including DNS cutover, data transfer and test phase. Goal: no noticeable outage on go-live day.
Hosting for web applications with scheduled tasks and connections to other systems. Monitoring alerts us to incidents so we can respond.
We run our own servers, regularly move client projects away from bad contracts and see what holds up day to day. This is our opinion from practice, rated on five criteria.

clesk.de and most of our client projects run here. Modern hardware, data centres in Germany, 20 TB of traffic included and prices that do not double after the first year. A client project that cost a good 200 dollars a month on AWS runs on Hetzner for under 20 euros. The catch: Hetzner is not managed hosting. Someone has to administer the server, either you or we do.
NVMe storage, nginx instead of Apache, SSH access per website and a support team that answers quickly and in German. We hosted several client sites there, and WordPress with growing content runs noticeably faster than on shared hosting. Costs more, but with only a one-month minimum term.
The fair, unexcited choice: mature infrastructure, reachable support, stable prices in the second year too, plenty of mailboxes. We have deliberately moved client sites there because the plan fit the project. Thin for developers: no SSH and no WP-CLI in the standard plan, deployment runs over FTP.
No lengthy reasoning, and the list is not complete, more get added regularly.
Personal assessment from our own projects, as of 2026. * We receive a commission for TimmeHosting if you book through us. It does not change the assessment, we recommend them because we host there ourselves. Are you with a provider from the lower list? We plan the move to keep interruptions as short as possible and handle cancellation with your old host.
